The orphanage,directed by Juam Antonio Byaune,is the latest moody ,emotionally intense Spanish horror movie.Ever being a lot of those coming out recentally as a kind of specialty of the new Spanish cinema,ghost stories that use some of old Gothic supernatural machinery of classic horror film to tell more emotionally resident deeper richer stories.Unfortunately ,this one is not really as rich and deep as The Devil's Backbone or the others.Instead it's rather pedestrian story that's pretty well done for all bad.Billian Reada plays a woman who returns to the oranage where she grew up with her young adopted son and her husband.And gradually she started discovering imaginary friends. Strange things start happening.Creeping children show up at the end of the hallways and this woman is drawn back into her past,into a secret that happened on the ground of that orphanage many years before.Yhere's nothing new or surprisng about this story,but it is skillfully done.I think I was a little disappointed by orphanage because my expectation has been raised by some of the other Spanish film that do a lot more with the shore.In the end,it's kind of sentimental sixth sense like feelings into it but the emotions are really as deep,rich or interesting as some of the visual effects,which are none or less effective they do give you scare.

The ghost stories, the use of some old gothic supernatural machinery of classic heart * to tell more emotional residents’ deeper and richer story. Unfurnately, this one is not really as rich and deep as the demoned backbone or the others. Instead, it’s a * story. That’s pretty well done for all that.

 

Beline Rita plays a woman who returns the orphanage where she grew up, with her young daughter and son and her husband. And gradually, she starts discovering imaginary friends and strange things for happening * creepy children show up at the end of hallways. And this woman is drowned back into her past, into a secret that happened on the ground of that orphanage many years before.

 

There is nothing terribly new, or surprising about this story, but this is skillfully done. I think I was a little disappointed by the Orphanage because my expectations have been raised by some of the other Spanish films that do a lot more with *. In the end, it’s kind of sentimental Six Sense like feeling to this, but the emotions are deep, rich and interesting as some visual effects which are, nonetheless, effective, they do give you scare.
