Homework:
Friends in the real world and online, thesestudents at the West London school use social network sites to stay in touchwherever they are. And their virtual world is dominated by Facebook, more than 600musers around the world, for many, it is their online identity.
This is a change in we use Facebook quiteregularly for advertising purposes, helps keep in touch with students who are allmainly on Facebook.
I post photographs, I swap, I discuss with myfriends, I like join groups.
I don’t think people have changed that much in thousands of years. The inexorable rise of Facebook is a threat to that other online giant Google, its fresh attempt to break into social networking offers video conferencing and tighter privacy controls allowing users to choose the information they share with different circles of friends. Reinventing the brand could help it hang on to the advertisers they depends on.
We are seeing those dollars being invested in social media activity by businesses. From the consumer points of view, I mean,it’s huge, the numbers of people who are engaged in different types of social networks, not just Facebook, they are spending more and more time there, it’s where their friends are, it’s where their topics of interest are. It is how things are shared and communicated, and I think that because it’s where consumers are, we’ll see more and more and more money being invested in this space.
So does the google-plus offer enough to entice the Faceblook generation?
The Google-plus, It looks like you can actually have more control of your account and your privacy and stuff, I think it’s better.
It takes quite a lot of time, quite a lotof effort between people to switch over, some people don’t like switching over.Unless somebody else got your all your pictures, all your videos, and all your memories if you like and help you move it over.
If you have been on Facebook for two years, the amount of photos, some people have got in the thousands, will enchant you put all those memories into one, into another place.
Google-plus is invitation only for now, but it is a serious challenge at Facebook, the fight for your friends just got interesting.
