“You should shame on yourself, they are raping your children….”

They were hero at the beginning, then turned up for an end. The trial was often shocking and never short of controversy. The police has said the race was not relevant, and certainly became a shame. Sentencing 8 British Pakistanis and one Afghan man, the judge said the victims had been treated as though they were worthless. One of the factors leading to that was the fact, he said, they were not part of your community or your religion. The court had been told the gangster men have preyed on white girls in @ town of Heywood, some cases, raping them. The words of the judge, callously, viciously and violently. Not questioning of race, according to Great Manchester police, but simply criminality. Among those who asked whether the political correctness may have played a part in police’s approach to the cases was the education secretary.

“I think the political correctness shouldn’t get away, that’s why I am pleased the office children commission is conducting an inquiry into every aspect of child sexual exploitation by groups and gangs and asking some tough questions about the culture background of some of these criminals.”
The recent study to on-street grooming found, of 753 offenders, nearly half were Asian heritage. The police point told 95 percent to those on sex offenders registered in Great Manchester are white. But the group representing young British Muslim say that at 68 to recent convictions involved child exploitation, 59 offenders were British Pakistanian men.
“It is the race issue, let’s be clear about that. These Asian guns, these Asian men, these Asian criminal, particularly Pakistan origin and the victims are, nine of ten times, white, so it’s the race issue.”

The twitter posted by British national party leader @apparently revealing the verdicts before the jury had delivered them to the court, has led one lawyer to lodge an appeal. In the circumstance recently made, the impartiality, independence of the jury, which is the cornerstone of any fair trial, may have been compromised.

While the town of Heywood tries to wipe away the stain of this case, its implications are likely to reverberate for months to come.
