1.    On the day autopsy result released by lawyers for George Floyd's family are showing he died of asphyxia窒息 due to pressure on his neck, President Donald Trump during a call with the nation's governors, term their response to violent protests across the country "weak", and he urged them to call for more National Guard troops to be deployed to their cities as they ____ to keep it under control. In tape of the call obtained by ABC news Trump lambasted严责 governors for not responding forcefully enough.

NPR has confirmed parts of that conversation. Trump also said there should be significantly more arrests and jail time for those who break the law. In some cases peaceful protests were spiraled out of control in cities include New York, Los Angelis, Louisville Kentucky and Washington DC.


2.    Over the weekend the peaceful protest in Washington over the death of George Floyd led rioting, arson, and looting. As NPR's XX reports, the city's mayor called the destruction intolerable and announced a curfew starting tonight at 7 o’clock.

Store windows were smashed, business looted, cars torched, and a fire was set in a basement of a historic church. DC police chief, Peter Newsham, said the tactics appeared to be organized in nature. He said 88 people were arrested, 2/3 of them charged with felonies. DC mayor Muriel Bowser said while she "emphasize with the righteous of protesters outraged by the death of George Floyd.

"We do not, and will not allow the continued destruction of our hometown."

Meanwhile federal authorities are sending riot teams to the nation’s capital to respond to unrest.


3.    After Kentucky's Governor called for the release of a police video from a deadly shooting in Louisville. The city's police chief has now been fired. Steve Conrad has been fired after offices early today. Prompted did not have their body cameras switched on during an encounter when police and National Guard soldiers enforcing the city's curfew shot and killed a black man.

5.    Number of confirmed cases of coronavirus globally has passed 6 million according to the WHO. NPR's XX says the fastest growing outbreaks now are in central and south America.

The center of the cvp is now solidary in the Americas. Now the outbreaks in the US and Canada have started to decline. That's not the situation in much of the rest of the region. On Monday Brazil reported 33,000 new cases to the WHO, the most by far of any country and nearly twice the daily total for the United States. The WHO's head of emergency's Mike R says Peru, Chile and Mexico are also among the top ten countries for new cases.

"I would certainly characterize the central and South America particularly are very much become the intense zones of transmission for this virus as we speak."

And he says in many of those countries the outbreaks have not yet peaked.


6.    Lufthansa will begin a 10 billion dollar bailout from the German government and the European Union under terms of agreement approved by the airline supervisory board. German airline today quoting the head of the board to called a difficult decision. Lufthansa, like most global carriers, has been hard-hit by the downturned in travel as a result of the global cvp. The airline will be required to expels slots in Frankfurt and Munich as part of the deal with the government. And also the government will take a 20% stake in the airline.


7.      the ongoing rally and oil prices papers to a __ a bit today. Crude oil future prices were down 5 cents a barrel to close at 35.44 a barrel on the New York Mercantile exchange.
