1.    House lawmakers from both sides of the aisle took turns going after some of the most powerful figures in big tech. The CEOs of Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google answering questions today remotely from a house subcommittee hearing on any trust. Facing some especially contentious question with Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, making his first appearance before Congress, he was repeatedly pressed about the online shopping giant's control of the space at the expense of 3rd party retailers.
"We have a policy against using seller-specific data to aid our private label business, but I can't guarantee you that policy has never been violated."

NPR's XX reports, Congressman Louie Gohmert learned the news as part of routine screening at the white house today.
Louie Gohmert was set to go to West Texas with the President but was tested positive before the trip. He returned to the capital, and from his office, told Texas' NBC affiliate KETK he was tested twice and was positive both times.
"I don't know where it came from. But then here I have it."
Gohmert attended Tuesday's House Judiciary Committee hearing for attorney general William Barr. He was not wearing a mask. A Justice Department spokeswoman has said Barr would be tested for the virus. The committee is working with the attending physician to Congress on next steps for others who have been exposed. Gohmert also attended another house hearing on Tuesday.


3.    The Pentagon says it plans to move about 12000 troops out of Germany, shifting some to other NATO countries and the rest back to the US. Defense officials called a better strategic framework. But NPR's XX reports, President Trump says it's about Germany's failure to pay more for the alliance.
The reduction would amount to about 1/3 of all American troops in Germany. Defense Secretary Mark Esper says, some of those troops would be shifted to Italy and Belgium. Others would be rotated to Poland. Esper said some of the moves could begin within weeks, while it could be years before the entire plan is realized. Still, Esper and other defense officials described it as a concept, and said more planning is needed, adding that the moves will cost billions of dollars. Esper said the plan has been in place for a month. He declined to address President Trump's language of Germany's lack of NATO payments to the true productions.


4.    Stocks sell on the gains ______ today, following the announcement by the Federal Reserve it will continue to keep interest rates near zero to help the cvp ravaged economy. The Dow was up 160 points, the NASDAK rose 140 points, the S&P500 closed up 40 points today.

6.     Danish piano player, Bent Fabric died yesterday. He was known around the world as XX for his 1961 hit "Alley Cat". As NPR's XX reports, he was 95 years old.

XX was born in Copenhagen in 1924. After World War Two, he formed his own Jazz combo and started as ___. On a Facebook post honoring him, Danish PM XX called XX "the sound of Denmark".


7.    NASA is taking another step in its efforts to eventually get humans to Mars. The space agency it launches an ambitious mission tomorrow, saying the next generation six-wheeled robot to the Martian surface. The rover will be tested   with deploying a mini helicopter. ?????
