4. Donald Trump has said he expected the coronavirus vaccines to be available for every American by next April. At a White House news conference, he said historical progress had been made with three vaccines which were being in final stages of the developments.
5. The Peruvian president, Martin Vizcarra, has given a defiant address to Congress ahead of the impeachment vote against him which is due to take place within hours. Mr.Vizcarra said his conscience was clear and he wouldn't be coward. He's accuzed of misusing public funds and lying as part of coverup.
6. A human rights lawyer, Amal Clooney, has resigned as Britain's special envoy on media freedom, saying the government had made her position untenable. Mrs.Clooney is the third lawyer to resign from a goverment role over legislation that would break international law by overwriting parts of the Brexit withdrawal deal.
7. The Swedish climate change activist, Grate Thunberg, has told her supporters that even doing their best was no longer good enough as they prepared to revive Friday protests nest week. She said people must do teh seemingly possible to bring climate change under control.
