1.  PDT has announced that all houses of worship would be considered essential services as states continue to reopen amid the cvp. Speaking at the White House today, the President urged governors to do the right thing and open them immediately.
"Is any question? you're going to have to call me. But there're not going to be successful in that call. These are places that hold our society together and keep our ppl united. The ppl are demanding to go to church and synagogue, go to their mosque."

Trump added that if governors do not reopen places of worship he would override them. On what authority he didn't say. The White House said again today that's up to individual states to decide how to restart their economies.

2.   As the President calls on state governors to allow the immediate reopening of churches and other houses of worship, many public health experts say it's risky. NPR's XX reports on a number of steps churches can take to help reduce the spread of the v.

Giving the prolonged close contact that can come when groups of ppl gather, there have been multiple outbreaks of Covid-19 linked to churches. And public health expert Bill Miller in the Ohio State University, says if houses of worship resume with packed pews and singing, the risk of reopening could be high.

"The church can mitigate that somewhat by spacing ppl out, by improving the ventilation, opening the windows, by reducing the singing."

Singing can spread saliva droplets that carry the v. Some churches are considering recorded music to temporarily replace the choir.

Alsahli was killed by officers stationed at the gate during a shootout that followed. One officer was injured. On Facebook and Instagram, social media profile that appears to belong to the shooter, reference support for the Taliban and al Qaeda. On Thursday police searched a home that public record show to be the last known address of Alsshli. The FBI has also said it's looking into a person of interests who's still at large.

XX reports from member station WGBH in Boston.

Via video conference, the California couple stoically admitted they paid half a million dollars to bogus charity in a bribery scheme to get their two daughters admitted to USC(南加州大学) as fake rowing recruits划船的体育特长生. Loughlin agreed to serve two months in prison, Giannulli, five. on ZOOM(视频会议软件), Loughlin and Giannulli barely spoke, sitting shoulder to shoulder with their attorneys in what appears to be their home. Their sentencing is scheduled for August. One outstanding question whether a judge will make the couple serve their sentences in prison in light of the pandemic.

6.  New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says the state is launching a 100-million-dollar loan program to help small businesses make payroll amid the cvp.

"The federal definition of small business has what many could been considered large businesses, but we are going to focus on true small businesses, 20 or fewer employees, less than 3 million dollars in gross revenues."

Cuomo says the New York forward loan fund will offer flexible and affordable loans to help small businesses that did not receive cv relief assistance from the federal government.

The state's unemployment rate stands at just over 14%, that's according to the latest figures from the New York State Department of Labor.
