"I think it's a great thing to wear a mask, get everything to get fast. But I do believe they have a time to fly."
But it was a major shift for the P who has refused to be seen by cameras with a mask. He has said before that he didn't want ot give the press the satisfaction. He's been under pressure to send a different message by wearing a mask as cv cases surge in parts of the country.

"We do not all join together and unite in this one cause for a short period of time, of adopting a mask, what it will lead to is that it will lead to the necessity of having to close Texas back down."
Still Abbott added, that's the last thing he wants to do.

3.    House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says Congretional Democrats are still pushing for legislation to reform policing practices in the US. Speaking on MSNBC "policy" says both parties need to set aside their differences and work toward a bipartisan agreement.
"Many of the provisions have been introduced by the black caucus over time, so this is a culmination of many years of dedicated knowledge on the subject."
The legislation passed by the House was named after George Floyd who died at the hands of police in Minnesota. His death has sparked massive demonstrations against police brutality and racial injustice in the US and around the world.
The democratic measure includes an outright ban on police chokeholds. The Republican bill offers police demartments incentives to ban them.

4.    Russia is sharply criticizing the Netherlands for its decision to sue the Kremlin in the European court of human rights. The Netherlands blames Russia for the downing of a Malaysian passenger plane over Ukraine six years ago that killed nearly 300 ppl, many of them Dutch.

"Both the mother and the father were literally driven in a patrol vehicle to the border and forced to walk across into Mexico by armed agents. I don't see choices there."
