你是否意识到这两句话是互补的呢，也就是说disenchanted和very pleased是反义词？

再看一下韦氏大学词典对于disenchanted的解释(http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/disenchanted)：
disappointed, dissatisfied

现在清楚了？

至于你说搞不明白那些人说的话有什么逻辑性，这很正常，因为你对于美国历史、地理、政治、宗教等等缺乏足够的了解
这不是一时半会能解决的，多读点东西，光靠每天听一段新闻肯定是不够的，或者你可以先找你感兴趣的、熟悉的话题来听

不再着迷的

如果我能查出来是disappointed，或者是dissatisfied，可能还能明白一点

背范文没实际作用.多看范文,看的时候要去研究人家的idea和篇章结构.主要还是练习谴词造句,个人觉得在这练听写对谴词造句会有好大帮助.

意思倒是满清楚，the earlier a person begins treatment, the better his/her chance for survival
结构嘛，偶不认为这是一种可以被大多数人接受的表达方式
也许因为the earlier...起到了一种类似壮语的作用
又或许是为了避免在his/his or her/one's/their中做出痛苦的选择。。

aught = 0, early aughts 就是某个世纪的00年-09年
第二句的单词都是字面意思，Spirit of Justice是美国司法部大楼里的一座半裸女雕像，某些人认为有碍观瞻，于是装了个帘子把雕像给遮起来了
