对char changes，我也听出来不对。就用音标查字软件“DICT”查“长”这个发音的单词。碰到这样的情况我是锱铢必较的。

 

 原来是播音员的口误。

 

如20080409NPRNEWS中：

我将WaMu听成"one of"，一是对这个专有名词不熟悉，二是以为是上例一样的播音员的口误，因为后面又有一个"one of"。

 

20080410NPRNEWS中： House Republican leader John Boehner says any vote to delay consideration of the Colombia Free Trade Agreement would violate the spirit of the law and, quote, "be cheating."

 

这里这个quote（“引文开始”）是used in the root form to introduce the gegining of a quotation. 一开始怎么也想不到，当然也听不出来。这就要靠慢慢磨耳朵了。

 ，应该不会吧！VOA音频和其它音频没什么区别的，每天的VOA很多听友都下了还听写了的。

 

先检查下，或者把出现的问题详细说下，大家一起想想办法。

VOA的MP3音频下载没有什么问题。我以前一直在下，速度也很快，平均就是1－2分钟。但要注意选择链接的几个不同地址，不妨每个都试一试，速度不一样。我在北方，网通的宽带，但我选择电信的地址。具体原因说不清，恐怕是网通和电信互连互通的问题吧。

Given the circumstances, which I was later informed by 阿橙，my post is very inappropriate in terms of the words I have used. My argument, however justifiable it sounds to me(exactly it surely isn’t, according to other on-line friends’ opinions ), is a disaster for cyber-etiquettes.

It is of course OK for us to air our opinions in an open and free way. What should be minded, though, is that being in a virtual world doesn’t mean we have excuses for our impolite, imprudent, inappropriate behaviors. It is a principle long neglected by many netizens , it is a principle neglected by me the previous day.

Further more, those hosts here in the putclub all provide their service voluntarily, with no gains nor rewards. They, including Host fujunzhao, have their own careers and lives, yet ,they come here to serve us with no claims for rewards, and in a persistent way. Their commitment and dedication deserve our appreciation, not these sarcastic words by characters like me.

What’s gratifying, though, is that hitherto in our club, the putclub, only me is to blame for this kind of behavior, generally speaking, everyone else is polite and friendly.

In conclusion, I’d very much like to say “I am deeply sorry ” ,to Host fujunzhao , to all hosts here and also please accept my late respect.

Ps: it’s not my previous intention to write such a letter, but words just fall short of me when I begin my letter in Chinese, so “why not just write a English letter”? Draft是为普特专门编写的小软件，尽管还有许多需要改进的地方，但为普友所喜欢。普特更换服务器后，这个软件应该及时升级了。

 

 请问Draft现在还能用吗？是否已经升级？好像有普友在用。

 

 给软件编写者提个要求，听写稿要分一下段落。这在技术上不难实现吧。

实际上， 斑竹们都很忙的， 他们花上自己一天的1/3或者更多的时间 只为了给我们上传BBC、VOA、NPR等， 他们自己也要听， 然后再一篇篇地修改，整理； 那是一件很耗时的工作！ 可惜我不是电脑专业的， 不懂的开发啥软件~~ 所以， 我想要改稿或是发稿时， 要么自己慢点发， 最好还是先用WORD编辑吧 把段落啥的弄清楚， 否则会给斑竹们的工作造成很大的不便！ 当然， 要是在普特上有软件编写者愿意编写的话， 那是再好不过咯~~~哈~~ 纯属个人意见，千万别给在下扔鸡蛋！ 一句话， 一定要给斑斑们最大的方便，一定要尊重斑斑们滴工作！

整理稿其实是这样：economywise strategy．

因为副词性后缀 -wise，意思是“在……方面”、“就……而论” ，如： 　　budgetwise（在预算案方面）；moneywise（在金钱方面）； savingswise（就积存资金方面而言）；educationwise

至于此处的意思，我想指的应该是在经济方面有利的策略吧．
