sanctuary 和 militants 之间还有一个of，这里可以理解为激进武装分子的主要据点

2.mount：这里作动词，to increase in intensity

这两个说法都对吗？~~希望得到一个确实的confirm~~thx

index的复数形式有两种：indexes，indices

当index作索引讲，复数形式为indexes
当index作股价指数或指标讲，复数形式一般为indices，但是有时在一些报纸上看到也有用indexes的

恩，需要安装，不连网也能用lingoes查词，这是官网http://www.lingoes.cn/，根据需要自行选择词典

但是它的划线取词功能比不上金山词霸，所以二者可以结合起来用

I'm a little bit confused about your question... 为什么多了一个 meanwhile 就觉得不是同一笔救助了呢？前两条新闻相当于是同一件事的不同方面啊。新闻播报经常会听到meanwhile，不一定就是前一件事和后一件事非得在同时发生，只是anchor们为了引出下一则新闻。。。

不过最后一段说到组成的时候，75+570+350=995 billion，这个可以说等于nearly 1 trillion~~但是好像不等于那个具体的960 billion的呢？
