Senator Edward Kennedy underwent a long and risky surgery Monday to remove some of his cancer's brain tumor. A doctor at Duke University Medical Center has said the surgery was successful and doctors had accomplished their goals. Kennedy was awake during the procedure and afterward told his wife that he felt "like a million bucks "and said quote "I think I’ll do that again tomorrow." The cancer was found about two weeks ago in Kennedy's left parietal lobe. Experts said the surgery was risky since the region of brain also deals with speech and movement.

Like in real estate, it's all about location. All of these functions are at risk in any kind of surgeries, so when you go into it to remove the tumor, you are on the risk of potential damage to those functions in the brain.

Because of this doctors say it is unlikely that all of the tumor was removed in the surgery.

Surgery alone can never remove all of the tumor, so surgery is never able to cure the tumor.

We were told that he had stock piles  ....

Kennedy will now undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatment. The seventy-six-year old Senator was hospitalized on May seventeenth after suffering the seizure at his home.
