I am Rebbeca Ward from the VOA News Center in Washington.

   US President George Bush says the world's top economic powers have agreed to work together to restore stability and growth to the global economy. He made remarks after meeting with finance ministers who were in Washington DC for gathering of the group of 7. And all of these recognize that this is a serious global crisis and therefore requires a serious global response for the good of our people.  We resolve to continue our strong efforts to return our economies to the path of stability and long term growth.  The United States has a especial role to play in leading the response to the crisis.  It's why I convince this morning's meeting here in the White House and that's why our government will continue using all the tools that are disposal to resolve this crisis.  Our meeting Secretary Paulson now described the bold actions the United States is taking over the past few weeks. President Bush says some of those actions include boosting the liquidity in the markets and cracking down on the abuses of practices in the markets.  The president says financial officials have pledged to support key financial institutions and prevent their failure. He says ministers will work quickly to protect being deposits and bring liquidity to financial institutions to unfreeze the credit market. He also says they agree to ensure tax payers are protected.

   Zimbabwe's opposition says a power-sharing deal is in jeopardy after president Robert Mugabe allocated key ministries to his ZANU-PF Party. A government notice said that Defense Home Affairs and Finance ministries were appointed to ZANU-PF. The Opposition Movement for Democratic Change called the move /// and said MDC leader Morgan Tsvangarai will address a rally Sunday in the capital Harare. The appointments were announced one day after talks of Mr. Mugabe, Mr. Tsvangarai and Arthur Mutambara who heads the breakaway opposition faction. The rival's agreed Friday to ask former South Africa President Thebo Mbeki to return to Harare to try to break it in pass over the key ministers of the opposed. A spokesman for Mr. Mbeki said the former president is scheduled to arrive in Harare on Monday.

   The Turkish military says its warplanes and artillery units have bombed 31 Kurdish rebel bases in northern Iraq. A spokesman for the Kurdstan Workers Party or PKK says the rebel suffered no casualties in the offensive. Turkish officials have been considering new actions against Kurdish rebels following recent attacks on security forces. They killed 24 people including 17 Turkish soldiers.

    In the latest news, Iranian state media saying members of Iranian religious militia killed 4 Kurdish separatists in the clash this week near the Iraqi border. The fighting took place in(on) Tuesday in the Kurdstan province in western Iran.

   The founder of Indonesia's Aceh's Separatist Rebel Movement returned home today after more than thirty years in exile. Charbird Shock has the story.

   Thousands of curious onlookers and former rebel soldiers swarmed to provincial capital of Banda Aceh to witness Hassan di Tiro 's historic return. Di Tiro declared independence from Indonesia from 1979 and sparkled conflicts that spent three decades and claimed more than 15000 lives. The 83-year-old is the founder of the free Aceh's Movement also known as GAM. Sri Hartati, a resident in Aceh among the crowd of supports sees Di Tiro as a national hero. She says the Acehees are proud to have a person such as him to awaken them the patriotic spirit. A peace deal was brokered in 2005 months after the Indian Ocean's Hsunami torn through the country  and left about 160000 dead or missing. Finland's former president Martti Ahtisaari won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for his party negotiating the pack. Charbird Shock for VOA News, Jakarta.

   Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh now agreed India Kashmere's first train services are met heavy security and separatists’ strike protesting his visit. The train service covers 117 kilometers but only a 66-kilometer portion will be used for the moment. On Friday, two people were killed and 75 injured when police fired teargas that protesters in the Cashmere's main city /. In recent months Indian Cashmere has been hit by some of the largest pro-independence protests since 1989.

   The United States will remove North Korea from its list of states sponsored terrorism in exchange for a verification plan. That will allow the US and another country to monitor the communist country's nuclear disarmament. American diplomats say the decision for the agreement was in Pyongyang in which North Korea agreed to US nuclear inspections and demands.
