提高英语听力能力 找对方法很重要!

HW

19 year old Vanessa Massarotti was accepted at her first top choice 4 year university but for economic reasons had to enroll instead in Brookdale Community college.

Financially I have brohers and sisters in college also....it will be very hard so....we..I just stand up and come to Brookdale..save money.

Like Vanessa, more students may be squeezed out of their dream schools and college in general for a public 4-year college reaching a skyrocketing from 1600 us dollars 20 years ago to nearly 7000 now.

For a private school from 8000 to 25000 dollars.

For a long time , we just thought about they are very poor. But now many middle class student can't go.The tuition is just too high.

A new education report card found that families making less than 39% a year grow up 50% of their income on public cost in 1999.That number has jumped to 55% in 2007. The share for familiy making less than 30,000 us dollars also climb from 18 to 25%.While familes making more than 90,000 saw the lowest increase from 7 to 9%.

And the problem is only likely to get worse. Historically educational experts say during tough economy time, state tents to cut college budgets would send tuition up.

I think it is going to be very intresting to see if the state that has a relative high institute tuition. If they gonna to lose students to other states that have lower costs.

I knew money is always going to be an issue.Vanessa's college dream will ultimately be determined by her family burden line.
