The head of South Africa’s Electoral Commission ….Saturday expressed satisfaction as the final results were announced for Wednesday’s national and provincial elections. “The Election Commission of South Africa is pride to declare the 2009 national and provincial elections fully and fair, and that day is …that we win, all think people of all South Africa protest. I thank you.”

The commission said the national congress has won nearly 66 percent of the vote, getting at 264 of parliament’s 400 seats. But this was less than 1 percent short of the two third majority the anser has campaign for, and four percent of its points less than the won in the election of five years ago. Nevertheless the victory means ANC head, Jack Zoma is on track to be chosen South Africa’s next president when the new parliament can win in two week.

"The Election Commission of South Africa is proud to declare the 2009 national and provincial election's free and fair and that day they flash their win, all the people of South Africa vote us, I thank you!"

The Commission said the African National Congress had won nearly 66% of the vote, getting it 264 of parliaments four hundreds seats. But this was less than one percent short of two thirds majority the ANC had campaigned for, and four percentage points less than one in the elections five years ago.

Nevertheless, the victory means ANC head, Jack Zuma is on track to be chosen South Africa's next president when the new parliament convince in two weeks.
