Authorities in Miami continued to search for the men who dragged a live shark onto a public train then into the streets leaving it to die. The incident happened ten days ago when passengers on a Metromover train spotted a man with a four-foot shark attached to a fishing line.

Passengers say the shark was bleeding, gasping for air. The two men were later seen trying to sell the shark. This surveillance video released Tuesday shows the man dragging the shark and riding a bike down a street.

“Obviously, there is some concern about somebody dragging a shark into the middle of streets of Miami. I mean this is something unheard of that I’ve never seen in 20 years of law enforcement.”

Wildlife officials say if the men were found they may face only second-degree misdemeanor charges. “Is it a major crime? No, it's not, but it’s a crime against the resources and we’ve certainly would wanna / talk to these people to find out what their mind frame was, what were they thinking about when they did that.” Police say the man only wanted to sell the shark for 10 dollars.
