HOMEWORK
Hi everyone,i'm Padill Kilm, today our destination is Japan,a country that stick to traditon, but one that also lives a cutting edge of the future.
It's one of the few places in the world where traditions are changed go ahead and ahead.A place ......this,is Japan.
A throbing country of more than 127,000,000 people creamed and trained violence,an area smaller than California.Maybe it's not so suprising that such a modern place pulled such a strong grip on its culture past.
It was only as recently as late 1800 when the country emerged from hundres of years i solation brought on by its rulers.Nothing embodies contrasts of the tradition and modernism quite like Tokyo.Stay in the capital,a city over 12 millon people, you were able to do experinces, some of best shopping, dining and culture treasures the country has to offer. And if you are looking for tasting of authetic Tokyo, don't have to go far.Hand out to the Tokyoge Whole Sale Fish Market, handling seafood for the entire region around Tokyo.
For a breathe of fresh air, plan a day trip to the iconomic Mount Fuji, located 62 mile south west Tokyo in the FUji-Hakone-Izu National Park, now FUji is the highest mountain in Japan rising more than 120,000 feet.Althought it's covered by snow several months out of the year, the secret mountian remains one of Japan's most popular attractions.Just to the south Mountain of Fuji,it's a natural wonder of a bay called Seruga. Here boaters enjoy pristin water conditions, divers check out sealife and researchers congegate to study this wonderful marine habitat.
Above water the wildlife is no less impressive.Japan also offer the opportunity to come face to face with some amazing animals, such as the Japaness giant hornet or the Japaness macaque.
When you are ready for more urban exploration, give traditional Kabuki theatre a try.You best bet for a good show will come in Kyoto,Osak or Tokyo.Japan's traditional theatre is known for highly stylize drama elaborate makeup worn by its male peformances.
Keeping in mind of it,might not be a great choice for kids, peformances last about 3 hours.Drinks and snacks are usually available in foyer. You can also buy a ticket for a sent bentle or lunch box.It will be serve to you in the dining room during the intermation.
For those seeking out traditional arts and crafts,Japan won't disappoint. For ceramic's lovers, you'll think you have died and gone to heaven.Japan boasts hundreds of famous kilns and many of the country's master potters continue the tradition on the island of Kyushu.
From hand-made Japaness paper called Washi to the century of the old art of.........,to the thrill of watching several Japan's finest athletes competing in the sumerrings on Tokyo or Osak.Japan offers the unity promise of experincing in the past, but with one eye always looking toward the future. |
