The golfer's very public apology for private feelings is digested in today's papers, some see it as a significant cultural event,while other's taken nie nie to his scripted please for forgiveness.

On American TV,the performance was aslo dissected."One of the most famous people in the world,known for being cool under pressure,standing humbly and nervously before a national audience on live television ."

"I was unfaithful,I had affairs,I cheated,what I did is notacceptable."Practice stopped in this golf club in a suburb in Chicago to listen to the 13 minutes and 31 seconds of sorry,most were supportive.

"Ther are so many young boys and girls out there,they are really really look up to Tiger,and I am glad he addresses them.And hopefully,over time they'll realize that he is an adult,and adults make mistakes."

"I don't really think that a man has to apologize to all of us,but I think he should get divorce and move on.''

2 of Tiger Woods's  main sponsors,Nike and Electronic Arts have said that they will stand by the golfer and they look forward to his return to golf.But of course, so does that PGA Tour, not for sentimental resons, Tiger Woods is  big business.

TV ratings soare when Woods participates.Unsurprisingly,the PGA tour sponsor is supporting his eerie star.

"The important thing is when he comes back, when he is ready,when he is down with the issues that he has to deal with.At the point,we think he can win golf tournaments ,well that's three weeks from now,or six months from now,those are decisions he has to make."

These players at the Accenture match play championship in Arizona didn't  grudge the player,his main opponent.

"For me,it's what on the bridge, I am just looking forward to coming back on tour,and I am actually excited to see him back,so it's good to see that he is going well."

"I am glad he came out and said something,but you konw,I think everyone should go on with their own life now,and let him go on with this,just wanting to get back on the courts."

The team which help devise the apology, will be hoping draw the line in a fair way,but will be aware his repeated discretions have created a significant handicap to the multi-million dollar brand.
