Researchers say American children now eat average of 3 snakes a day between meal. A study found that thouse snakes add up to almost 1/3 of all the daily calories eaten by children. And those extra calories could help explain the raise in overweight children in The United States.

The study was done at the University of North Carolina, at Chabo Hill. The reashers study the diets of 31,000 children ages 2 to 18 over a 30 years period. They found that snaking has increased since 1970s. And what kinds of snacks have increased the most softy high fat foods like chips.
