China, what's going on? Have you heard from the government?

Yes, yes, we talked to them a great deal.

Today?

I've not talked to them today, using the excuse that I was out of the country, you know in a different country. The history was that we decided
that we did not, you know, the laws require active censorship. We decided to move to Hongkong, former British protectorate, thank you very much. And the pitch in China is "One country, Two systems." We like the other system better. So we moved our service to Hongkong. And the way the censorship works is that Chinese government has a, what was known as the great firewall of China which sits there.

And, you know, I don't like to talk about it very much. But basically, content goes through it and some content doesn't make it to the other side. That's how censorship was done. So we made this decision pretty much, you know, narrowly based on the things that happened to us to great fanfare. And that's been placed now for a few months. As a part of, our operations in Mainland China we needed a license called the ICP license in order to run our businesses there. And the Chinese government said, look, you have to make a few more changes, you have to get rid of what is called the redirect, and we didn't exactly have a lot of choice. So we made that change, and that change was done earlier this week.

2. protectorate 保护国, 摄政政体, 摄政职位
   1 a : government by a protector b capitalized : the government of England (1653-59) under the Cromwells c : the rank, office, or period of rule of a protector
   2 a : the relationship of superior authority assumed by one power or state over a dependent one b : the dependent political unit or territory in such a relationship

3. pitch 本文中意为 :定调,即官方语调 “一国两制”。

4. firewall 防火墙
    (computing) a security system consisting of a combination of hardware and software that limits the exposure of a computer or computer network to attack from   crackers; commonly used on local area networks that are connected to the internet.

5. fanfare 夸耀;嘹亮的喇叭声;

But basically, content goes through it and some content doesn’t make it to the other side. And that’s how the censorship was done. So we made this decision pretty much unilaterally based on the things that happened to us, to brief fanfare, and that’s been a place now for a few months. As part of our operations in Mainland China, we needed a license called the ICP license in order to run our businesses there. Um, and the Chinese government said, look, you have to make a few more changes, you have to get what’s called the radio act and we didn’t exactly have a lot of choice. I haven’t talked to them today, using the excuse I was out of the country, and in a different county. The historty was we decided to, we did not. You know the laws requires active censorship. We decided to move to Hongkong, from a British pretecture. Thank you very much. And the pitch in China is one country two systems, we like the other system better. So we moved the sales to hongkong, so the way the censorship works is Chinese government has a, what is known it’s great far involved in China, which exists there. And you know, I’ve talked it very much. Basically, content go through it, some content doesn’t make to the other side. That’s what censorship has done. So we made the decision pretty much, you know, narrowly, based on things what happened to us to great fanfare. And that’s been placed there for a few months. It’s part of our operations in mainland China we need a license that’s called ICP license in order to run our businesses there. And Chinese government said: look, you have to make a few more changes, you have to do what is called rediact, we don't exactly have a lot choice. So, we made that change, change was done earlier this week.
