Norway is one of Europe’s top tourist destinations. A ** from all over the world come here to try their hand of base-jumping, **, **-jumping, and just about any other extreme activities you can think of. Moving glacial ice over thousands of years created these impressive mountains and valleys. For relaxation or adventure, Norway is an unforgettable destination for an ultimate journey.

With a population of just over 4.5 million people, Norway is vastly populated but highly developed. It has obtained one the highest standards of living in the world, but having a large amount of natural resources compared to the size of population. The coastline is broken by enormous **, and scattered with 50,000 islands. Some of the ** are exceptionally deep, reaching depth of over one kilometer below sea level. Norway is one of the most mountainous countrys in Europe and large parts of it are dominated by this height **. A combination of the high altitudes, the northerly location and the moisture form the Atlantic, means that many of these mountains are covered with permanent ice caps. This dramatic landscape was formed by prehistoric glaciers. The areas surrounding ** is a natural starting point for exploring Norway. The mountainous landscape has made it a popular location for extreme sports, such as base jumping.

Base jumping started off as a sport in the late 70s as skydivers looked for a new kick. It involves jumping off a fixed point, like tall buildings or bridges. Norway is one of the most picturesque locations for base jumpers who liked a bit of outdoor action. Here, they jump off cliff faces. This is a high risk activity, far more dangerous than skydiving.
