[Homework]【整理】2011-08-14&08-20 化妆品的故事 (1/3)
Can I tell you, I love my painting proving. Over a dozen so personal care products I used every day is one I can’t live without. Since it gives my dull hair the ultimate cool shine. How does it do that? I was wondering that when I was lethearing it to my hair one day, so I read ingredients right here. <> What is these stuff? I took this list to some scientists who know how to read it. Turns out my painting contains chemical linked to cancer. And that’s other products in my bathroom from sunscreen to lipstick and even babyshampoo also contain chemical linked to cancer or other problems like learning disabilities as … even damage sperm.
Like most parents, I try to keep my family safe. But now I find out my bathroom was mild with toxins. What do we suppose to do? To find out the answers, we have to go back to one of the key features of our material’s economy. Toxins in? toxins out? If, at the factory, you put toxin chemicals into a product, like baby shampoo, you are gonna to wild with toxin baby shampoo, and toxin workers, communities and babies.
So let’s take a closer look at this toxin outrage with seeddrop everyday, in the bathroom. The average woman in the US uses about twelve personal care products daily, the average man about six. Each product containing a dozen or more chemicals. Less than twenty percent of chemicals in <> has been accessed to safety but industry <>. So we just don’t know what they do when we use them. Would you find the airline that only expects twenty percent of its planes.
Of course, not all of these chemicals are dangerous, but we know that many are. Some are cancernegens. That means they can cause cancer. Others are non-toxins or reproductive toxins, proven to mass a brief development but we production animals. Wait a minute, we are animals too. It’s like a giant experiment. We’re using all these mistry chemicals and just waiting to see what happens.
