[Homework] [访谈录] 2012-03-22&03-24 第一夫人米歇尔.奥巴马专访

I have conversations with my wife. Paul has conversations with his wife. Married men and women have conversations all the time.
We tend to talk.  Tend to talk. That are for no one else in the world but one another. That’s right. But…
Hypothetically speaking, at the end of the day, have your husband ever come home and said to you, “Ah, that John Boehner, what an idiot”?
It is, it is never happened, never, never. He is always upbeat, particularly about congress.
Yes. How could he not be upbeat?
My father had most post grosses, and I never knew him to be able to work. But my dad worked so hard and he loved that so much. And I think from him I learn just absolute complete unconditional love, emotion that kids really don’t need anything but to know that their parents adore them. And I think that’s the greatest gift they gave us, just their constancy support and, you know, stability. And that’s really what we tried instill on our girls. That mean you talk about raising kids. It’s just really, you know, we had rules, we had boundaries, but there wasn’t anything my dad wouldn’t do for us. And don’t make me cry. This isn’t Oprah. Supposed to be Letterman. What’s up? Where are the laughs?
Did somebody tell you this was Oprah? Is that, is that why you’re here? Oh my, someone misled the first lady.
