Three of the UK's biggest water companies are to lift their hosepipe bans following weeks of rain.

 

 

 

英国三大供水公司将宣布取消自今年4月初英国大干旱后实施的“使用移动水管的禁令”(hosepipe ban)。这一禁令将于6月14日正式取消。今年4月初英格兰出现自1976年以来最严重的干旱,有7家公司实施“使用移动水管的禁令”。根据禁令,居民将不得使用外接橡胶和塑料水管浇花园、浇树、清洗门前平台或洗车,但是仍然可以使用水桶完成这些工作。但意外的事,禁令实施后,今年四月阴雨连绵,成为英国100年以来降雨量最高的四月份。
