The first sight, this buildng looks like traditional displays of wealth.
But look at it closer, and something else is going on.
The owner of this palace built his chimney resembles inke temples, like the ones spanish planted.
On the pezar of family palace, the pero patis is decorated with inke style statues. But at the center of coat of arms, groups of inke prisoners abound together with chains.
'The architecture equivalent to the head of the stick, this is the triumphant architecture of conquest.'
During the course of conquest of Peru. Thousands of inkes died. Some from European diseases, but many as a result of spanish buchury.
'Fransisco and Brazil were one of the most brutal at all conquest, he raid to penidged to jute the tan of inkes, persuading them to give all his gold to exchange their lives. And then, just gararting him any way. The blood of the inkes is the submit of the whole door of this magnificent of palaces together.'
But the conquest at all was more than masent reals. They sold themselves as mishenaries. And the conquest of their new will is just another front in the great religious war that consuming in 16th century Spain.
'If you want to undersand the conquest of all mentality, you have to realize that was wildly belief throughout Spain, that God has given to these Catholic people- the new world and all its treasures, precisely that they could combat the enemies of the cohoicizen, the postens, the muslims, they genuinely believe that the God was on their side.'
