The launch of the iphone 6 or Apple become the most popular smartphone brands in China. But that didn't last long. Chinese smartphone brands all rapidly ceiling the show, taking that the smart phone crown. Relative new kid on the block, Xiaomi, has taken 15.9% share of the markets. It's among the most valuable startups in the world, yes, the whole world, worth more than airbnb or pinterest. **** is Huawei, taking a 15.7% of the market share in the second's quarter. Just 0.2% between the two off the top of the table. Huawei is China's fastest-growing smartphone make. That leaves Apple with just 11% bite of the market share. Sales dropped to whopping 21% between the first and second quarters of the year. Is the honeymoon period for Apple in China over? Or will the next generation iphone help the smartphone veteran show upstart Xiaomi who is fault and help regain the smartphone crown in the world's second largest economy?
