we now have the final job's report for the election, so we want to take a look back
at the president Obama's record on jobs, here's the numbers: 10.9M, that's how many
more jobs are today than January 2009 when President Obama took office, how is that
steck up against other recent two term presidents, not as good as Regan and Clitton
, but way better than George W. bush, you may have heard the president has reported
to say "15 million jobs were created under his administration", and that is true
if you measure from the bottom of the job market after the great recession, in
Feburary 2010, when President Obama took office the economy was bleeding jobs about
750,000 a month, Obama supporters actually know that the president policy can't
be felt immediately, it takes time for them to affect the economy, he can't wave
magic wand to create jobs, still, it's spin to cherry pick out the bad ones for
just include good ones, but the trend is real, since the final months of 2010, the
nation has seen 73 consecutive months of job creation, that's robust by any measure
,in fact, it's the longest strake on record, that's where Obama's white house
want you to focus.
it's similiar story with un-employment rate, Obama enter office with 7.8% job lose
rate, it quickly jumped to 10% at the begining of its term, but that's has been
steadily falling since then, it's now held steady near 5% for more than a year,
but the big question is: of all thoese jobs added are these good paying jobs?
avery job earning rose about 2% year under Obama's presidency when you factor in
inflation, that's not very good, that is why real median household income is barely
up since Obama first year in office, more recently, household incomes have improved
so there you have it, Obama' record on jobs, unemployment and wages, how will
histories judge him, you have the numbers now, you decide. |
