1.US President Donald Trump on Sunday said that for many years Mexico has not been cooperative to curb the surge of migrants travelling through it to reach the United States. He said he believes a new agreement will alleviate the problem. ABC's T reports:
"In a series of Sunday morning twitters President Trump hails Mexico's commitment but says if for some unknown reason such cooperation fails we can only go back to our previous very profitable positions on terrors. On Fox news Sunday acting Secretary of Homeland Security Kevin underscored the point:"There is a mechanism to make sure that they do what they promised to do, that there is an actual result that we see a vast reduction in those numbers" Mexico's US ambassador M tells CBS's Face Nation that US Mexico and central American nations are all working together on the migrant crisis "We will continue to have technical talks on those weak and then to elaborate constantly what is going on in these 80 days." " Ben Washington. And President Trump has said he doesn't think raising tariffs would be necessary.

2.US representative David has defended remarks by House speaker Nancy that he did not want to see President Trump impeached but rather imprisoned. S told Fox News on Sunday that he has no difficulty with statement he noted that during the presidential campaign candidate Donald Trump called for the imprisonment of former Secretary of State and New York Senator Clinton :"There is criminal acts, obstruction justice, clearly impeachable offenses and so you know it's kind reach at the President complain about this that he began the campaign with a lock-up at his bumper sticker."B made his remark last week during a meeting with house judiciary committee.

3.A lawyer for a prominent Russian journalist detained on drug charges in Moscow has filed a complaint with the country's top investigated body saying police used violence against him when he was in custody.ABC's correspondent S reports : "M was taken to a Moscow court after he complained of feeling poorly in police custody, during the hearing he denied being involved with drugs,following his release one of M's lawyer filed a complaint saying police using violence against him while in custody which they deny. Police are alleging they found four grams of synthetic stimulating in G's sport pack. But many journalists suspect the arrest was a retribution for his investigated reporting."

4.It was a beautiful day for a parade in New York city as thousands came out for 62nd annual Puerto Rican day parade along the 5th avenue. ABC's correspondent Julie:
"Puerto Rican pride was on display everywhere, you looked with flags waving in people cheering at notables when by-on floats with Martin who was the grand martial, actor Daniel was marching with his city flag "I am very proud with my heritages, proud to be from the most beautiful city in  Puerto Rico L. " And Puerto Rico's devastation by hurricane Maria was not forgotten. Governor says the city would erect a permanent memorial" Puerto Ricans are American citizens, and what the Federal government did was disgraced."Other politicians taking part included A but one notable absence was mayor D who was out of town campaign for President. At the Puerto Rico day parade, I am Julie Walker."

5.On Saturday in Washington DC hundreds of people ran from a public park where the DC parades celebration was being staged. They heard a gunman had opened fire , a man was arrested on charges of weapons possession and disordered conduct after he threatens another with a BB gun which was a type of wire gun that uses very small bullets designed to hit balloons. 7 were injured from the crush of crowds in the scene.

6. Thousands of people crossed from Venezuela into Columbia Saturday to buy food and medicine after Venezuela's President M reopened the border between the two countries. It had been shut tight for four months. Flood of people seized the opportunity to cross into Columbia to pick up supplies that were no longer available in Venezuela. Venezuela's borders with R, B, Brazil were also closed in February when the political opposition tried to deliver food and humanitarian aid to the people of Venezuela.
