Russian officials detained Wilen in December, accusing him of having a flash drive containing states secrets which he says he thought were application photos. During a court appearance, Wilen a US citizen who holds passports from three other countries, appealed to president Trump to quote ‘keep America great by defending Americans no matter where they are’. wilten’s twin brother David Wilen says he’s not surprise by the remark, ‘Paul is a Trump supporter before, and I think it probably is baffling to him that he can has spent nearly six months in prison without any public support’. US national security adviser John Boudon recently met with Wilten’s sister, but he and other officials have not said publicly that Paul Wilen is being unfairly detained. For NPR news, I am Kun Climfilter in Detriot.

People shopping for their first home are increasingly likely to find themselves competing with investors. NPR’s Scar Horsly reports investors bought more than one out of five starter priced homes in the US last year. Investors’ role in the single family housing market is the biggest it’s ever been since data firm core largec started tracking investor home purchases twenty years ago. Investors bought more than one out of nine home sold nationwide last year, and many of those sales were concentrated in the lower priced home sort by first time buyers. Soon after the housing bust in the great recession, big investors started snapping up houses in large numbers. But much of the recent growth has come from Mam and Pap investors, typically buy a handful of houses for rental income. Investors’ interesting home buying varies widely across the country. Investors bought more than one out of four homes in Detriot last year, a fewer than one in twenty in V A. Scar Hously, NPR news, Washington.
