The WHO is saying that managing with the outbreak is not going get any easier in weeks and months ahead. And countries need to look what measures are most appropriate for them based on where they are in the outbreak. For countries with wide spread community transmission, such as the United States, the WHO's head of emergencies, Mike Ryan says they need to shift from measure designed to simply slow the spread of the virus.
"To much more precise, targeted, directive measures, that would allow us at a very least, to live with this virus until we can develop a vaccine to get rid of it."
And he said to do that, countries needed extensive testing to understand exactly how the virus is spreading in their communities.

Under guide lines developed from CDC, any guest who are ill or who come into close contact with some sick will remain on the Zaandam. Four doctors and two nurses were also remaining aboard.
