Now, around 181 countries and regions, the new coronavirus pandemic has put 166,000 people into its too often _______  _______.

A quarter of these of victims are here in the United States. New York city is the epicenter. Statewide, the number of live lost in New York has jumped to almost 3,000 at the suffering one-day mortality record of 562.

American is morning the death of over 6,000 coronavirus victims. The country also found itself in severe economic distress which grows deeper by the day. Globally, close to 56,800 have fallen to the covid-19 virus. The numbers come from Johns Hopkins University which keeps daily track of the pandemic developments around the world.

Spain has recorded 950 new deaths in one 24 hour period. It's the highest daily toll to date, pushing the overall death number in the country to just under 11,000.

Spanish officials are predicting a new smile of tragedy, as they discovered large number of deaths in nursing homes and other facilities for old people. Case loaded to Spain close to 180,000.

There have been nearly 15,000 coronavirus deaths in Italy, the highest number in the world. The latest daily death counted to 760. And although there are signs of the rise in cases is levelling off, the running numbers of cases in Italy already tops 190,000.

In France, the prime minister E says his government is fighting hour by hour to stem the deadly tide of virus, hampered by a shortage of essential drugs to keep covid-19 patients alive in badly overcrowded hospitals. Johns Hopkins puts the death toll in France at 5400 among 59,000 cases.


U.S. president Donald Trump has undergone a second coronavirus test using a diagnostic tool that delivers results in just minutes. Once again, Mr. Trump tested negative. Meanwhile, his administration is apparently ready to revise its covid-19 guidance to recommend people wear nonmedical masks when out in public, preserving the more sophisticated masks for those in the trenches stoping hospital front-lines of the coronavirus battle.

There are continuing shortages of such supplies both in the United States and around the world. The governor of New York Andrew Cuomo says if the current state rate of infection does not come down, his state will exhaust its supply of ventilators in less than a week.

And Cuomo  ______ that any hospital in his state that has ventilators -it's not using- must sent them to where they are needed -case in point- New York City. The governor also made a renewed plea for more personal protection equipment, either form the federal government or willing businesses.  

With the accelerating number of covid-19 deaths in the Untied States, emergency officials have asked the Defense Department for 100,000 body bags.This _____ as funeral directors across the country are finding themselves overwhelmed by the numbers of bodies that need to be buried.

Nine leading European hospitals are warning they will run out a badly needed covid-19 medicines in two weeks. In Germany, the head of the disease control agency L, says covid-19 deaths in his country are probably been under_____ But he has refused to given a reason to why the reported figure for the number of the coronavirus deaths in Germany is just over 1100 among almost 85,000 cases.

In China, where the coronavirus pandemic was born, it's estimated that as many as 200 million workers are jobless or underemployed. And the government says it will dole out another $142 billion to local banks to allow them to make low interest loans to small and medium-sized business. China is, however, slowly getting back to work, apparently with its new coronavirus cases carried into the country from outside the borders.


American job numbers newly released in few hours will show the end of a 13 consecutive months' of U.S. job growth. A robust economy had been president Trump's strongest argument for reelection in November.

Another mass infusion of cash is under consideration on Capitol Hill in Washington -at least among House Democrats- with the focus on money for infrastructure and other related programs. But Senate Republicans seem no hurry to push any new spreading program until they see how what they provided so far a $2.2 trillion stimulus bill works out.

In other news, they are said the US Intelligence reports that Iranian-backed forces in Iraq are planning to attack American troops. President Trump has re____ed that Tehran was plotting?_____ ____ and that Iran would be wise to avoid any such thing.
