Barr says the outrage over Floyd's death is real and legitimate. And that the criminal justice system is moving quickly to hold those responsible to account. But Barr said, unfortunately, in many cities, peaceful protests over Floyd's death are being hijacked by what he called violent, far left extremist groups.

"Groups of outside radicals and agitators are exploiting the situation to pursue their own separate and violent agenda."

Barr did not offer any evidence to support that assertion, but he warned that it is a federal crime to cross state lines to incite or participate in what he called "violent rioting暴动". And he said the Justice Department will enforce those laws.

United kingdom is threatening to create a path to British citizenship for millions of people in hong kong if China doesn't suspend the national security law. As NPR's XX report, the law is seen as stripping the semi-autonomous territory of key freedoms.

When UK handed Hong Kong back to Chinese control in 1997, Beijing promised to allow people in the former British colony to enjoy their way of life, including free speech and political freedom for 50 years. Many in Hong Kong and elsewhere think Beijing's decision to impose a national security law threatens those freedoms. So, in a remarkable move, the UK is now threatening to give many Hong Kongners a path to British citizenship on the way out. The Chinese government bitterly opposes such a plan and says it voilating the international law where many Hong kongners to choose their former colonial master over China, it could brew embarrassing to the Communist Party and economically damage to Hong Kong.

NASA's first astronat space launch from US soil in nearly a decade was a success this afternoon as two American astronauts onboard the SpaceX Sdragon capsule took off for the International Space Station. This trip is a historic one. It's a public-private partnership to restart American manned spaceflight. NASA in the past has had to rely on Russian rockets to get astronauts to the space station, because the agency retired the space shuttle in 2011.
