As NPR's XX explains the ruling could affect citizens from El Salvador, Haiti, Nicaragua and Sudan and possibly Honduras and Nepal.
Two out of three judges on the 9th circuit court of appeals ruled that the plaintiffs had failed to prove the President Trump's "racial animus toward non-white, non-European populations was a factor when his adm cancel temporary protected status for the immigrants. The effect of the decision means that those immigrants, some of whom have lived here for 2 decades could be subject to removal next year and they have tens of thousands of US-born children. Under TPS they were allowed to live and work here indefinitely if their countries were unsafe because of earthquakes or armed conflict. Lawyers for the immigrants say they'll seek a new ruling from the full 9 circuit.

Beijing based ByteDance is facing a deadline from the WH to sell the APP's US operations. Tik Tok says it believes its proposed partnership with Oracle would resolve the Trump adm's national security concerns. The structure of the partnership is unclear and the deal shall need the approval from the US govt.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told CNBC on Monday the proposal will be reviewed this week. Microsoft had also had also begun the running to buy Tik Tok, but said its bid was rejected.
