1.Congressional democrats angered by the trump administration’s refusal to begin the formal transition process to president-elect joe biden are demanding a briefing on the matter tomorrow. NPR hhh reports they want to hear from the head of government services administration. It’s up to the GSA to formally ascertain the winner of the Nov.3rd election for the purpose of the transition, and so far the agency’s administrator Emily Murfy, a Trump appointee, has refused. The GSA had said it will have HHH’s deputy brief law makers next week, but democrats don’t want to wait that long. In a letter to HHH the law makers say every additional day that is wasted, it’s a day that the safety, health and well-being of the American people is in peril. Health and Security experts say delaying the transition will harm the incoming biden administration’s ability to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and that threatens the national security.

The federal government has already paid the company to produce 300k doses. The first batch will get set out Tuesday, officials say. Monoclone antibody is designed to block the virus so it can’t invade cells, another antibody product by hhh has already been distributed to hospitals nationwide. And doctors try to figure out how to allocate it and administer it safely to people with active infections. 10 to 20 people apparently need to be treated to prevent a single hospitalization. National Institution of Health says it can’t tell if monoclone antibody treatment is effective and helpful.
