下周一开始正常上班了，在那之前最后抢一次沙发吧  周六日听写的人不多 我之后不知道还有没时间整这个了 听写了个把月 速度算了略为提升了点
倒数第二段我最初听成 most pilot TV shows 结果发现是 most pirated TV shows  差太远了 第一二名不是我的菜 第三名《西部世界》盗版下载量算是有我的一份 这不是啥值得自豪的事情 只是咱国情 哪怕有引进也是被阉割的了 之前的榜首《权力游戏》就是如此

The Republican-controlled Senate has overturned President Trump's veto of a more than 700-billion-dollar Annual Defense Bill. Today's vote comes 2 days before a new congress is sworn into office. NPR's Kelsey Snell reports, it's Trump's first veto-defeat at his presidency. The Senate easily surpassed the 2/3-majority needed to override the veto of the National Defense Authorization Act. The Annual Defense Bill is a bipartisan stable in Congress. The legislation has been approved with the support of huge majorities for 60 years. Trump vetoed it over a completely unrelated demand - he wanted Congress to repeal a decades' old law that social media companies use to limit their liability for content posted on their platforms. The New Year's Day vote comes as control of the Senate for the next term remains undecided. Republican Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue are facing runoff elections on January 5th in Georgia. Florida is the latest state to report the new strain of the coronavirus that was first detected in the United Kingdom. NPR's Matthew Schwartz reports, the new variant to which is believed to be more contagious has been identified in a man with no recent travel history. The state said it's working with the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention to investigate how the new variant popped up in Martin County near Palm Beach. The new strain of the virus was detected in the US just days ago, first in Colorado, then California. Some scientist believed it came to the states sometime in the last month of two, as people travelled here from the UK. The variant is said to be much more contagious, but no more deadly than the more common strain. And experts say the vaccines should still be effective against the new variant. A winter storm is dumping snows, sleets, and freezing rain on parts of Oklahoma and Texas. Jessica Gallagher reports, travel warnings have been posted across several regions. Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt has declared a state of emergency for 39 western and central Oklahoma counties. It's after a winter storm dumped ice and snow across a large portion of the state. Nearly 20,000 businesses and homes have lost power, mostly in Oklahoma and Cleveland Counties. Travel is being discouraged by the Department of Transportation. Up to 6 inches has been reported in the Oklahoma City metro areas. Southwestern Texas is also being hit hard forecasters say up to 18 inches, could accumulate in higher elevations in the region. Wall Street is closed today for the New Year's holiday after posting gains yesterday. Stocks resume trading on Monday.

The US has surpassed 20 million confirmed cases of the coronavirus, another grim milestone as the number of infections continues to surge across the nation, with hospitalizations at record height. Public health officials say holiday gatherings and travel could lead to additional spikes in the next several weeks.
A list of the most pirated television shows in 2020 has been released. NPR's Neda Ulaby reports, for several years HBO's <Game of Thrones> took the top spot. But this year, the fantasy drama was unseated by a new Disney favorite. It's hard to keep track of everything being pirated, but the website Torrentfreak does its best. Every year it comes out with a list of the most torrented shows. In 2020, it was the Disney+ program <The Mandalorian>. "This is the way." Unseating at last <Games of Thrones>, which had dominated the top spot for the better part of a decade. The number 2 most pirated show was a dark fantasy about wayward superheroes - <The Boys> on Prime Video. Number 3 was HBO's <Westworld>, a dark fantasy about a theme park powered by androids. Pirates may be attracted to dark fantasies, but they also need 3 separate subscriptions to legally watch all 3 shows. Neda Ulaby, NPR news.
The Food & Drug Administration has issued a warning about a potentially deadly toxin detected in dog food. The agency is looking into certain items made by Midwestern Pet Foods.
