  Justice Department officials say they considered the US Capitol and its grounds a crime scene. SH runs the FBI's Washington field office, he says they have 100,000 pieces of digital evidence already.

    President Trump is taking no responsibility for his part in fomenting 煽动 last week's violent attack at the Capitol by extreamists loyal to him. Trump was visiting Texas to talk about his border wall, saying his words were quote "appropriate". During a remark....in Alamo,  Texas the newly build section of the wall Trump also saying that free speech is under assault. Meanwhile House Republican leaders say will not lobby the members against voting to impeach the President this week. It's Trump's first public appearance since the riot at the US capital after Trump exhorted鼓动 followers to march and quote "fight".
  Five people died.

3.  One of the nation's most powerful business lobbies has issued a tinging rebuke of the President for his role in last week's deadly riot at the Capitol. NPR's XX has more.
  Chamber CEO Tom Donohue issued a statement, saying "in his words and the actions, President Trump has undermined the nation's Democratic institutions and ideals". Donohue urged officials at every level of government to promote calm and encourage a peaceful transfer of power to President-elect Joe Biden.
  "Violence has no place in our democracy. The matter where it comes from?  Who perpetrates it?  Or what motivated?"
  Donohue says it's up to Congress to decide whether impeachment is warranted, adding that he trust lawmakers to use those tools judiciously to ensure the nation's wellbeing and security.

4.  After last week attack of the Capitol the top House Security Officials notified members and staffers they will now have to be screen before entering the House chamber. Acting Sergeant armed XX... in notice, saying magnetometer will being placed and quote "those they complete screening or carrying a prohibited items will result in none access to the chamber." He also reiterated that members were not permitted to enter the floor if they are not wearing a mask, and if they remove their mask, they can be removed from the House floor.

6.  It appears last week's assault on the US Capitol building by pro-Trump loyalists, so long with claiming of five lives. ...as a possible super spread event for the virus. In a span of 24 hours, three House Democrats now say they have tested positive for the coronavirus. Positive tests have sparked concerns about how many more people hay have been affected by last week's event when the pro-Trump extremists, many not wearing masks storm the Capitol building.  Dozens of lawmakers had to be .... to secure locations where some remain for hours in close proximity.

7.  Canada's most populous province has declared a state of emergency. It's issuing a stay-at-home order amid rising Covid case numbers there. Reporter XX has that story.
  Starting Thursday, Ontario residents may only leave their homes for essential work and trips like grocery shopping and doctor's appointments and to exercise. Ontario Premier XX said the stay-at-home order is needed to protect the province's struggling hospitals.
  "The system is on the brink of collapse. It's on the brink of being overwhelmed."
  Law enforcement personnel will be able to issue tickets to those who violate the order.  Schools in cities, including Toronto will hold remote classes through February 10th. The order will remain in effect for at least 28 days.

8.  After a slow start the government says it is now giving more of the second round of stimulus payments out to tax payers that include the number of people who use tax file in software. They found in some cases the Economic Impact Payments does not reach them directly. IRS税务局 and tax prepare... firms have been working to resolve the matter.
