The opposition parties in Hungary have suspended a primary vote for next year’s election. They say their system has been targeted by a sophisticated cyber-attack and the voting should resume on Monday. The parties are hoping to oust the nationalist government of *.           

Thousands of mainly Haitian migrants have been moved from a Texas border town where they have arrived over the past week. Local officials say they can’t cope with the numbers. U.S. officials say they are increasing the number of expulsion flight.

UNESCO has warned the Taliban that banning girl’s education fundamentally violate their rights and threaten the development of Afghanistan. Its comments were echoed by another UN agency UNICEF. Both called for the immediately opening of girl secondary schools. The Islamist has said boys can return to class but made no mention of girls.  

In a deepening rift over Canberra submarine purchases. The French Foreign Minister has accused Australia and United States. of lying and warned a serious crisis. The row started after Australia cancelled a multi-billion-dollar agreement with France and said it would be buying the submarine from the U.S. instead.

The UN Security Council has called on Somali politicians to exercise restraints and resolve their differences through negotiations. The statement came amid a deepening rift between the President and the Prime Minister that sparked fear of renewed violence.

Greece has opened first of five new migrant camps being built on the islands in the Aegean. The government says the camps on * will offer better living conditions than the existing ones but it also has strict security.   

Restoration work can finally get underway the Notre Dame Cathedral two years after the Paris landmark was damaged in a huge fire. Until now, the efforts have focused on securing the building. It aims to open in three years’ time.
