President Bush is preparing to delivery final state of Union address. The end speech before the US Congress outlines president's policy agenda for the coming year. White House Eight said the president will focus on the discussing plan to keep the US economy from slumping into a reception. VOA White House correspondent Paulo Woodson previews the president's address.

White House officials say the president will not spend much time looking back. Instead they say he will look to the future in his final state of the Union address. White House spokeswoman Danna Perinal says he will talk about areas what he feels he can work in concert with the Democratic majority in Congress, key among the miserly actment measures and turn to stimulate the US economy and enhance effort to counter the terrorist threat. The president will call on Congress to act quickly to pass an economic stimulus package along the liones of the agreement that the White House recently reached with Democratic and Republican leaders in the House of Representatives. Mr. Bush is also likely to talk of some lands about his hopes for Mideast peace deal that will lay down the premeter of Palestinians state. US stock sudden signly lower today resisting the strict pollorsis recorded earlier in Asia. Major stock index in the Europe fell less than one percent after the opening bael. In Asia earlier markets fell between 4 and 7 percent on fears of the session the United States will weak at the demand for Asian export. The major European indexes in London, Paris and Frankfort will also down in Monday's trading.

Egyptian border guards have begun restricting traffic across the border from the Gaza Strip. This comes five days after parts of the border securities fence broke up, allowing Palestinians to flood to the east to buy food and supplies. VOA correspondent Tralers MacDonald has more details from the border town of V.

After five days virtually unrestricted traffic, Egyptian border guards began deserting some control over the vehicles crossing the border. But Padastience continues to pass through freely.
