Financial regulators in the United States have accused the investment bank Goldman Sachs of fraud related to the collapse of the American housing market in 2007. The security exchange commission is taking civil action against the bank. Michelle Flora sent the report from the floor of New York stock exchange.

The security exchange commission legislated the bank thousand investors, financial product based on subpri morgages that was designed to lose value. Goldman Sachs has denied the allegation as he defended the firm and the reputation. This is the first time the US government has expolisitely  accused one of the Wall Street supreme institions of fraud relating to the collapse of the US housing market.

The Prime Minister of Thailand Abhisit Vejjajiva has put the head of army in charge of nation security. As he fights to campain by opposition protestors demanding his step down. Mr.Abhisit made the decision hours after security forces publicly failed to arrest leaders of the rallies that paralysed the parts of Capital Bangkok for weeks. Crashes last week during protest has left more than 20 people died. From Bangkok here's Richard Harvee.

The Prime Minister said he was pointing the head of arm forces General Anupong to take charge of national security in order to stream line operations. A government spokesman contacted by the BBC said the General would be better able to deal with what he called the terrorist threat. He now has the power to make decision directly, the spokesman said. The move comes to meet fewer expectation that security forces might be planing another operation to evict protestors from the sites they're currently occupying in the commercial heart of Bangkok.

Aviation expert has warned of drifting cloud of volcanic Iceland will continue to cripple the air transport of much of Europe that we gant. The European Traffic Agency said there will be further significant disruption. Britain has extended to close much of its airspace until /dim Saturday. The International Air Transport Association said the disruption was costing airline more than 200 million dollars a day.

Several top athletes warned organisers that the / bobsleigh tracks were dangerous. Olympic officials initially said that the death of the Luger Nodar Kumaritashvili was done to human era. 21-year-old / Luger Nodar Kumaritashvili was killed when he crashed on the final bend during training. He was thrown from the track at more than 100 kilometers an hour and collided with steel pillar. Test athletes in all three of the sliding sports bobsleigh,skeleton and Luge say they told organisers that the track was too fast, too difficult and less experienced athletes would be the most vulnerable to accidents. A spokesman for the international Bobsleigh Fedelation told BBC that some changes were made in response to concerns and the safety of athletes was absolutely paramount.

Italy says two of its citizens were kipnapped last year in Maghrib by Al-Qaida have been freed. The Italian government said the hostages were released after intense diplomacy have been taking to a safe place.

He's offering to drive people to any location in Europe for a fare of 1300 dollars. He said that for a person who really want to get somewhere that was a reasonable price to ask.
