Before I begin, I want to a few words about the terrible earthquake and tsunami destructed Japan earlier today.

First and formost, our thoughts and our prayers are with the people of  Japan. This is potentially catastrophic disasters and images of destruction and flooding coming out of Japan are simplly heart breaking.

Japan is ,of coures , one of our strongest and closest ~ and this morning I spoke wtih prime minister~ on behave of the American people I convade our deepest condolences especially the victims in their families and I to offered Jeffny friendsm whatever assisstant is needed.

We currently have  an ~ crat carrier in Japan and another is on its way. We also have a ship in the root to Marry Alice to assists needed. Our department is working to account for all our millitary personel in Japan. US ambassy personel in Tokyo have move out to outside location and state department is working to accout for assist any or  all American citicens were in the country.

Tsunami warning of the issue is accross the pacific, and we have seen initial waves from  the tsunami come ashore on  ~and another US territaries in Las and  .. as well as along the west coast.

Here in United States ,there hasn't been any major damage so far.But we are taking this very seriously and we are monitering the situation very closely.

is fully activated, and it is coordinating with states and local officals to support these regions as necessary.

Let me just stress that if people are told to evaquate, do as you are told.

Today's events remind  us just how fragile life can be. Our hearts go out to a friend in Japan across the region and we goona stand with them as they recovering rebuilt from the tragedy.
