[Homework]2011-03-14 夏威夷-海啸下个受害者?

HW
That's right. What you are hearing at the moment is a tsunami warning. It is the second time it is sounded tonight. People across the islands in Hawaii have been told that the wave could hit in about in 4 hours, just on the 4 hours of 7 minutes comes to 3 in the morning. It is now a quarter comes to 11. And just gonna be quiet. That's a police guard with the loud hailer. The police are saying all visitors of Wilkiki area return to your hotels. Return immediately to your hotel for instructions. This is not a drill. Listen to your radio and TV for instructions. So that's what the police are telling people on loud hailers on the streets and you are looking at the picture with the road outside my hotel. Normally a quiet road runs along a quiet canal and the back of Wilkiki. But at 20 past 11, here at night, this is now turning into office of evacuation room for many people who are concerned. We understand that on Noahoo which is the island that Honoloo sits there are 30000 people in unsafe areas who have been told to half a mile inland. That leaves most of the million or so residents in safe areas. To what they are talking about here in Wilkiki, calling it as a vertical evacuation.A lot of skyscrapers here, a lot of hotels that sit along the pacific coast, very beautiful part of the world. They are asking people who are below the third floor to move above the third floor and to listen to their radio and TV for instructions. We've just been down to shop ourselves to get some water and some supplies and come back into the hotel. There are a lot of people out there, a lot of people talking about it, but also a lot of realism here. People in Hawaii are used to events like this. They are taught from an early-aged child to cope with them. There are instructions in the front of a telephone dielectrics as to what to do when the tsunami siren sounds. I think really most people who are feeling a little * among the probably tourists since there are many hundreds of thousands of tourists visit this part of the world every year. A lot of them, of course, are from Japan. There are a lot of Japanese. People here have a very strong Japanese influence in the cuisine as well. Many of those of course Japanese phone lines trying to find out news from home.
