Kodak could be going the way of *. The Wall Street Journal reports that Kodak is preparing to see Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. It’s tried to solve some patterns to avoid Chapter 11, but might not make the money in time. Kodak is a 131-year-old company with 19000 employees. The company has been focus on printers in recent years after failing its make headway in the digital camera market, reportedly that wasn’t enough to generate the cash it needs to cover expenses, especially its obligation to retire employees. It’s another example of company that can’t cope with changing technology * like B book store or B video. The thing is Kodak invented the digital camera in the 70s, it just can’t capitalize on it.

The Next Xbox console could have built-in DVR. Microsoft was great to the pattern to record television shows on a game console, and it could be recording game play. The technology also points to being able to record live TV or play the video game without dropping a friend. Xbox brought live TV to its consoles last month starting with a few channels Verizon files customers.

And in other home entertainment news, Apple is having a hard time getting content for its iTV. Sources told you will say today that Apple’s trying to cut deals to offer top TV network programs pay for * card through iTunes. But Apple hasn’t had much luck yet.

Music retailers are singing a happy tune today for the first time in 7 years there’s being an increase in music sales. Over all music sales were up 3% in 2011, 3% may not sound like much, but there have been double digital clients in the past years. 103 million digital albums were sold, up 19% and 1.3 billion single tracks were sold, up over 8%. Perhaps more mobile devices like tablets and smart phones, are to think for the increase, streaming music services make it easy to discover new music for free before buying it, or again, it just could be a lot * like *, for albums sold 6 million copies, and the song rolled in the deep sold more than 5 million copies.

Barns and Noble is changing a few things this week. First, they announced to selling off their print publishing division and now Barns and Noble sent out a statement saying it’s looking at ways to unlock the value of being nerk. Translation, Barns and Noble wants to grow ** business, but can’t do that with its current resources. So the nerk business might split off into something separate from the breaking motor side, or partner with the publishing firm to help it grow.

Logitech has attempted to reinvent the mouse in its newest device. The Cube, which is a Cube shape, its rectangular box, but regardless, it’s a touch panel top, that’s the main mouse in the face, and if you look it off the table, the Cube is now a presentation device to help you offense to slice, but there’s no lace pointing you though. The Cube will ship this month in black and white for 70 dollars.
