For the last 15 years, Sheliphy Patrick has struggled to get a good night sleep. She used to taking sleeping pills that she bought over the count of the chemist but it didn't work for long. I'm in despair really. I'm having taken pills in knowing i shouldn't putting chemicals in my body. I thought seriously suiside to be honest because i couldn't say how i could drag on all my life where i was really.
Pharmcists are warning insomnia suffers about the danger of treating sleeping problems for themselves. According to a new survey, 60% of people with insommnia have taken sleeping remidies for longer than a month without getting any medical advice, 14% have taken them for longer than 6 months, and 18% have no idea how long they've on medication.
If you have a long term sleeping problem, if it lasts longer than a month, for the majority of those cases, they are possibly under line medical condition. Well that could be a mental health problem, like depression. It might even be a physical symptom like asmore. So we 'd like people to talk to their pharmcist to get a really good device about what underline condition they might be.
Sleeping pills treat the symptoms but not the course. Pharmcist are urging the one in three people who suffers from insomnia to seek help and only use pills as a last resort.
