“Winson Smith Junior was killed in a M parking garage during an attempted arrest on a weapon’s charge. A US marshal’s task force has surrounded his SUV and two officers fired their weapons after one of them yielded that Smith had a gun. There is no footage of the incident. Smith died at the scene and the gun and a spent cartridge were found on the driver’s side floor. The woman who is in the vehicle said Smith has raised a cellphone not a gun. M investigated the case and turns its findings over to the K county attorney’s office which found the officers’ use of deadly force was reasonable and justified.”
